Hi everyone
I'll be heading for the doctor's in ¾ of an hour for my latest blood test for my bone marrow cancer. I'll have a telephone consultation on Friday to find out what state my blood is in. Last time, eight weeks ago, I was declared neutropenic after the previous two occasions when I was dead on the line between safety and danger.
Take care and stay safe everyone

Good luck tvman will be thinking of you and hoping for a positive result that brings you onto the right side of the danger line.
Hope your veins co-operate, or more to the point the person taking your blood is skilled at getting blood from the more challenging patients.
And I'm sending a hug too xx
Thank you everyone for your good wishes, you really know how to make a bloke feel wanted and warm insideBefore I went I drank about a pint of water, kept my arm warm and went into the surgery instead of getting my blood taken in the shady cold back staff car park. The new member of staff, nurse What's her name (I've forgotten her name) took it like an experienced professional in no time. My blood pressure is perfect and I'll find out on Friday.
I'll let you know as soon as I hear from the doctor. Thanks again guys for the support.
