Here is one of my dogs in the snow today
Hi Amanda
What a lovely boy! When I was growing up (before the age of 12) we had a budgie called Joey and when he died, one called Tony, I think. Joey was a talker and also mimicked the dogs barking in the street. Tony didn't talk at all but he made up for that with his entertainment value. My grandad lived with us and Tony sat on my granddad's index finger frequently. He used to bring Tony to his lips and attempt to give Tony a kiss but most times Tony either bit his lip or the end of his nose!
Take care and stay safe Amanda

Gerry does indeed look a character. We took in a rescued budgie along with two cockatiels some years ago. The budgie was imaginatively called 'Budge' and he was a little terror and bullied both the cockatiels shamelessly, elbowing them out of the way every time he wanted to get to a food pot. All sadly gone and missed. Rainie x
