I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.
So
1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.
2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.
3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.
I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

An unexpectedly warmish & very sunny day
1 went into York with my sister. It was really quiet & we bought lunch at a Turkish food barrel, delicious.
2 both having family over for dinner so bought some treats from M&S.
unfortunately my sister took the wrong shopping bag home. Triple chic cheesecake for my vegan sons & vegan sausages & burgers for my chocaholic nieces .... hahaha
3 OH firing up the BBQ wine being served on the decking, bliss
Hope everyone has a good weekend xx
That sounds funny , the faces of your nieces would be funny.
My three good things so far today
1. Nice weather 28 degrees and a cool breeze
2. saw a lovely flower on my walkies ..see pic

1. I had second jab.
2. La Norbette had second jab.
3. Spoke with other humans, not as difficult as I thought it would be!
Morning all. As says I have 33 good things!
1 unexpected visit from my niece with Max & Lily. Haven’t seen them since Sept last year and got a great welcome.
My niece calls us the BOGOF grannies, Max & Lily call me ‘little granny’ My twin is a bit taller and you’d be wise to leave it there
2 I met Stanley, and he’s even cuter in real life! He’s a gorgeous, cuddly puppy.
3. My nieces came to our house to talk about our decision and see the changes to the house. They were very reassured and very positive about everything.
My sister is doing better and is in 7th heaven when her grandchildren are here. They adore her too .
These are huge things & I feel so lucky
xx
