I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.
So
1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.
2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.
3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.
I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

My Three Good Things!
It was a beautiful day
Our grandson and Son had a drink in the garden after their bike ride! (They keep their bikes in our shed).
My husband and I took a short run out in the car as it was such a nice blue sky day. I filled a flask with boiling water, took cups, snacks and fruit for a picnic at Carron Valley Reservoir. Had a walk to the waters edge, went back to have our well earned picnic and WHO had forgotten to put in the teabags & coffee!!! Lol!
Love Annette x
Lovely for the dog to have a ride and for you to get outside and see the daffodils xx

3 good things today.
1 Had a meeting with my colleagues at the Pilates studio and got my job back!! I may have to retire but I'd like it to be on my terms.
2 Went to the meeting in an accessible taxi. I told the driver it was my first time and he treated me like royalty and was so kind.
3 My sister came and was very reassured by the driver in the way back too. The company hand phoned me to say I'd booked an outward journey and they were worried that there wouldn't be availability to come back because of school pick ups. We booked a time to suit us both, and the driver rang to let me know he was on the way. He also gave me some safety pointers which wer really helpful, and was very encouraging
Yay me!! Can start teaching face to face at the end of May but Zoom classes and 1:1' s whenever I'm ready, very excited to offer chair pilates classes. Taught them before and loved them xx
Can I be teachers pet, don't give it to SiT, he's done nothing useful for at least a month, although he does look like a downward dog. I found a couple of chocolate buttons in my back pocket, you could have one as well as the traditional apple?
My 3 good things for today
1. Watched Bill Bailey on iplayer "limboland" - I laughed out loud several times.
2. Grayson perry's Art club on in 10 mins or so
3. Fruiting dwaf cherry trees I ordered in Dec ( one for Xmas present for someone!) finally arrived yesterday and given I got fed up of pursuing the company, I had already ordered some more from elsewhere - for the Christmas present). They arrived 2 weeks ago, so now I have 2 cherry trees for myself or to gift one to someone else.( they are self fertile so dont need 2 really). Do I go for a glut of cherries or altruism?
I do like Bill Bailey, will catch up with that. Recording the Art Club.
Keep the trees and share the buds with the bullfinches They take our apple buds every year!
I'd be inclined to keep them because the birds are so very fond of cherries so you'll have a reduced yield unless you net them or wrap them in fleece. I know because I have 4 full size cherry trees, variety Stella(sweet) but my problem is getting the cherries off before the birds. The trees I have are 30 feet tall ( I've had them 20+years) so unless I hire a cherry picker at £600(no way!) the birds will have the most of them anyway.
What variety do you have? You won't have long to wait for lots of cherries My wife makes cherry pies every year, they're delish.
Tvman xx
We enjoyed Bill Bailey . I especially liked the bit when he met Paul McCartney made me laugh
