I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.

So

1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.

2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.

3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.

I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

    Here's mine.

1, put off phoning to arrange ECG.

    2. Put off phoning for blood results.

    3. These matters can be addressed on my consultation phone call on Tuesday.

3.a Just arranged to have a shandy with my wife and best mate Monday.

  • 1.Went shopping with sister, shops empty lovely.

    2. My eldest son was here when we got back, nice surprise.

    3. Knock at door my daughter, she was looking quiet good, has gone threw breast cancer this year, which resulted in a mastectomy , but was looking good, came over to tell me she is going back to work on the 11th jan though cut her hours.

Such simple things mean a lot.

You won't get better than those this year. Cracking things. X

  • Well I don't do this very often so I will share mine today.

    1. We sold my old corsa today and got a good price for it too.

    2. Went to Currys and bought a new tumble dryer, but also bought a new kettle and toaster whilst we were there. Neither were needed, but I fell in love with the kettle, and of course you have to have a matching toaster.

    3. I still have half a bottle of Advocaat left, so that's this evenings celebrations sorted.

What will hubby say when he finds out his car has been exchanged for white goods?

  • He is aware, he was with me. You don't think I am let loose with the credit card do you Joy

I did have a little baileys in my hot chocolate earlier, but it would be rude not too really.

I know that Chelle, just a little baby joke that failed miserably but what's new there!

You have to have a Baileys for SiT so the decision is out of your hands.
