I know that started this brilliant idea so I wanted to carry it on for her and as the forum has become a little gloomy recently as we face loosing them both soon.

So

1. daloni and dizzie outlasted their prognosis by years and I am sure proved that you can have quality of life despite doctors best guesses and we all benefited from knowing them on here.

2. I just got back from a fabulous holiday in Galicia, northern Spain. I walked more than I have for months (chemo pushed me into a wheelchair) the food and wine was fab and I met old friends and laughed a lot.

3. Macmillan have admitted that their upgrade has been a bit sh*t and are working on improving it. Hurrah for Macmillan who have admitted it didn't go well. How many organisations actually come out and say that.

I don't like to think that newbies think that we are a miserable lot, what struck me on here when I came was how much joy, laughter and living went on despite cancer.

  • Apologies if I come across as flippant or a killjoy, certainly don't intend to be. The title of the initial post " Three Good Things " is in my opinion, subjective. So my Three Good Things at the minute are;

    1)  Abiraterone

    2)  Prostap3

    3)  Tramadol

I am not going through a bad spell or feeling down BTW.

    Take care, Tom.

Great things Tom, I recognise these as being useful to both of us.

I would add sherbert lemons and a bacon roll if allowed.

I can see these things becoming very varied and hopefully controversial. Our Matron Annette will be giving the naughty step a good bottoming, I can see candidates already, I am going to use my old favourite spot by the bar, well it was SiTs spot but I don't think he will mind. Not using his cushion for obvious reasons!

Well, he will mind but can't do anything about it other than send me cards from the other side..

  • Talking of SiT my 3 good things.

    1. Remembered I had £30 in credit on my Ladbroke account. Asked hubby to pick a horse…… he said “why have you got a Ladbroke account?” My answer “ SiT told me too, he used to give me betting tips” his reply “oh that’s ok then” JoyJoy

    2. Hubby cooked a perfect roast beef lunch, and then washed up……yes he’s a keeper.

    3. sorry for this one, but masked singer starts again tonight. Marmite I know, but I love it.

This is all starting to go wrong. SiT got you gambling, then drinking? You are a person here with site responsibilities and a new badge. How can you watch the masked singer?

    The ladies naughty step beckons.

And a other thing hubbies like yours give hubbies like me a bad name.

Not even got the first day finished!

  • Our hubbys are so fun sometimes...makes me shake my head...when yours said>> oh that's ok then lol...Man!!! By the way did you win???

, at the moment you will be very lonely at the naughty step..so here as always is a bikkie for you Slight smile

  • No I didn’t win, I’m such an amateur Joy x

SiT won 14 grand, the week before I visited him, gave it to Bear to go on holiday with her friend and gave the rest away to his family . Decent man all round.

I'll have plenty of company once things get revved up, I will need a secretary to keep the crowds in check.

I know my worth to you girls.

  • I see that you are starting the year as you mean to go on Norbs, but you've a bit of a cheek asking for a secretary.
