I am not good this week.  I went for my picc line on Thurs they had had a problem--- come back early tomorrow.   Next day all ready for it to be done --had I had my blood thinners yes I have them in a morning so can't be done, no one told me.

So now its another week before treatment. Feeling rough all aches and pains wondering if new treatment will make me worse. Is it really worth the struggle.  I am meeting my Palliative nurse the day before so will discuss it with her, I was all for new chance of a little extra time but it gets harder to go on. I know you all have troubles why is it so hard for us all.

  • Hi

So wonderful to hear from you again Daloni, I and many others were very concerned because your last post was difficult to read.

I'm so glad your family got to see you but as says, probably no Noodle. What about your big girl? I hope she was able to see you also.

The site is closing down soon, so I hope we can speak again very soon.

Take care Daloni and stay safe

    Love life and family.

    Hi Daloni

sorry to hear you are still in hospital but really pleased you have seen your family and they are helping you with your pain . Take care Love xx

  • Hi Annette / ,

I prefer not to rely on notifications so I don't get them in any of the groups I am in.  I don't know if the situation will improve for you after the upgrade.

When I click on the group I then click on the Discussions tab and it shows any discussions with new posts that I haven't read in bold green in order of the latest post.  That way I can just go into the discussions I have not read yet.  It also means that I can see if Macmillan has posted a discussion thread such as the notification of the upgrades.

I sometimes get confused by posts which have ( I understand, in retrospect) been posted by someone reading the latest activity thread and responding to the last post on there rather than in the actual thread that they are joining in with

I tend to come on the site first thing whilst I am drinking my coffee to catch up and again in an evening.  That way i keep up to date with all the new posts.  If I want to respond to a post or am anxious to see if there is any news about one of our friends I might come on a bit more often.

Hopefully however the upgrade will make the site better for the people who use it, Millie's ('s) garden will be the right way up, will not lose his posts and everyone will get their notifications.

    love Gragon xx

    Hi

Unbrake that heart. I am pain free! Think of me as a happy little bluebird, flitting around the kitchen, yes? Off my face, obviously, and I can’t walk as the pain killers are going directly into my cerebrospinal column. Of course it’s a big price to pay but I’m happy to pay it which maybe gives an insight into how bad things had been.

Seriously, all is good this end
