it struck me that a few of us are having tough times, whether emotionally or physically, so thought perhaps we should resurrect this for 2020.
and I will kick it off
1. Finally made it through the worst of cycle 2 Carbo/caelyx side effects, touch wood, no being sick now for 3 days, thank the lord!
2. Walked round the local ponds with my best friend in winter sunshine yesterday, ducks and geese and thousands of snowdrops.
3. Today a trip to Waterstones, my favourite shop to buy new books, always a pleasure

Hi
I am beginning to think that I am getting over this, I've been in bed for a full week and want desperately for the days to warm up a little so I can do some gardening. This week is to be mainly dry so if I can give the lawnmower a little service then my wife can give the back lawn a haircut. That doesn't sound good I'm sure to new members that don't know me but I'm a wheelchair user outside of the house because of a few things wrong with my lower spine, including, in layman's terms, 2 discs out.
Daloni, I know the horrors of vomiting, when it comes my way the uncontrollable noise that comes from my throat can be heard all over the house, resulting in stomach and throat pain for a few days sfter the vomiting halts.
Great you have your house sold, you'll have both good and bad memories when you leave. Are you coming down closer to sea level to remove howling winds
I need to get out of bed because tomorrow I've to get bloods taken, ready for my trip to the cancer unit on Friday. I hope that neutropenia has departed.

My three good things today
1. a quick turnaround at hospital. My doctor greeted me with a cheery “I’m waiting for you instead of you waiting for me for once”. Drawing blood was effortless, other observations completed quickly and I was out of there inside an hour.
2. I managed a half hour walk with Noodle then we both fell asleep on the sofa for
3. a two hour nap. I must have been exhausted.

Dratted insomnia. Ok time to think of three good things yesterday
1. I finished a panel on my latest crochet project. It’s a wrap made using a pattern that has different panels using different techniques. It’s been great learning all these new techniques and now the wrap is starting to take shape and look amazing
2. I ate Divine fair trade chocolate and caramel bar. So good.
3. I discovered one of the women I meet in the dog walking field is a professional dog walker. She walks one dog at a time so it’s not obvious. She’d be happy to walk Noodle for me on hospital days on an ad hoc basis.
xx
That's great good to have something in place.
1. Covered 2 of my long standing Pilates classes and got a great welcome and big hug from every client.
I made the difficult decision to give up my classes after a second emergency hospital admission and disease progression over the festive season so it was great to feel well enough to cover.
2. Have arranged to do additional cover in the next few weeks which is much needed and appreciated, good to feel useful!
3. Went out for a lovely meal with 2 friends, part of York Restaurant Week.
xx
Good for you . That sounds amazing.
My three good things today
1. I was joined on a rainy walk in the woods by Noodle’s brother and owner. It was so much fun watching the two dogs playing abs snurfling in the undergrowth. Washing the mud off was less fun. You should have seen the back of the car!
2. Another two hour nap. Hmmm. A theme emerging. I think the fatigue is mounting.
3. I made apple custard, which requires five egg yolks, and chocolate meringues with the left over egg whites. Both delicious
xx
today's goal is to get 'snurfling' into a sentence.....very apt description!
I hope you manage to get on top of the fatigue. I'm constantly amazed at how productive you are inspite of it.
xx
Insomnia again so I’m thinking of my three good things yesterday
1. A very nice family came for a second viewing of my house. Being as it was a Sunday I got to show them round. They left saying they’d put in an offer via the estate agent. I might have sold my house!
2. I had a lovely early evening walk with Noodle. The sun came out and the world looked fresh and new. There has been a change in the air this weekend and it’s started to feel not so much like the tail end of winter as the start of spring.
3. I had a restful afternoon on the sofa doing a spot of crochet and listening to an audiobook. Chestnut Street by Maeve Binchey. It’s so beautifully written and read.
Daloni
Fingers crossed for your house offer.
