it struck me that a few of us are having tough times, whether emotionally or physically, so thought perhaps we should resurrect this for 2020.
and I will kick it off
1. Finally made it through the worst of cycle 2 Carbo/caelyx side effects, touch wood, no being sick now for 3 days, thank the lord!
2. Walked round the local ponds with my best friend in winter sunshine yesterday, ducks and geese and thousands of snowdrops.
3. Today a trip to Waterstones, my favourite shop to buy new books, always a pleasure

Hi gang
my three good things today
1. walking the puppy in the sleet. Ok it was brutally cold and frankly miserable but at least I knew I was alive
2. signed off the house details with the estate agent. The first viewing is arranged for tomorrow.
3. Italian pastry with lemon cream filling for dessert. It’s like eating a very posh lemon puff biscuit. Remember them, anyone?
xx
Well that was a heck of a week. Among other things, I had an offer on a house accepted, put my house on the market and had the first viewing. Exams started for my daughter. CT scan showed the cancer is stable. So much stuff that my head is reeling. I am going to spend a few moments focusing on today and three good things
1. I had a lovely walk in wet woods with a friend. She had surgery before Christmas and her recovery has been slower than she’d like but today, as we walked, we realised this was the first time this year either of us was strong enough for this particular route.
2. Hot cross buns for breakfast.
3. Teaching Noodle to jump through a hoola-hoop

Noooooooooooo! Don't tell me hot cross buns are in the shops already!
Next time I'm out of the house, I may have to go on a mission.....
Congrats on buying a new house! That's exciting!

Wow , that's quite a week!
Congratulations on your new house, here's hoping the whole process goes as smoothly as possible.
As for being stable, Best. News. Ever.
I wish your daughter the best of luck with her exams.
With so much going on your dog walks with Noodle are going to be extra good for the soul xx
This is the 'good' thing about online shopping. You type into the search bar what you need and then you add it to your basket. So usually, not always, I only buy exactly what I need.
Whereas if I wander the shops, I will find all sorts of extra things that I absolutely 'need', just sitting on the shelves calling to me. And don't start me on those reduced shelves! Those are brilliant!! Marks and Spencer and Sainsburys really know how to properly reduce something, taking it down into the pennies. Where Asda, Tesco, and Morrisons just take pennies off! Lol
I'm still thinking of Polish Doughnuts though too. I can hear them calling to me.
Unfortunately I was really good in my last shop! Not one thing did I buy for snacking on. No cakes, no biscuits, no crisps, not an unhealthy thing - barring pancakes and chocolate spread. And I've been cursing my strong willed self ever since! Lol

well i have lots of good things this week but these are my top 3.
1. all my spring bulbs are flowering in my pots and make me smile along with the blackbird singing his heart out.
2. Hubby is recovering well from his aortic valve replacement which he had on the 17th.
3. I seem to have lots of energy which is enabling me to walk with hubby on his daily exercise regime, and do my own cleaning instead of having to rely on someone helping. I don't know if its because the radiotherapy has worked or because all the drugs i was on are out of my system and i am only on paracetamol and a small dose of oxycodone, either way i am very happy to have more energy xx Lynn 2
Hi
I'm so pleased for you and your husband that you are both enjoying life again.
I haven't been well for just about a week now, sinusitis, conjunctivitis and a heavy cold that doesn't seem to want to leave me.
Just while I'm here I want to let you all know that my eldest son is getting married today in Bolivia, and of course I can't be there but I hope to have a photo or two in a while

Hi
I’m having a sofa day today as a bout of vomiting over the weekend has laid me up good and proper. My three good things so far:
1. The sun shining in through the living room window.
2. my daughter is off school revising for exams and is taking such good care of me
3. It is blood orange season. They are so delicious and juicy. I had two bags delivered with the shopping this morning. One has gone already.
