This is what I mean about different answers. When I tried Boots they just refused to insure because I had been in hospital in the last year and I was awaiting results!!! Which lets face it most of us are most of the time.
When I tried to get insurance in advance I did struggle. Boots advised me to get insured about a month before I want to go away to keep the cost down. I never book my holiday too far in to the future now anyway so it works for me.x
