1. I'm just about to head off on a weekend with my eldest daughter (10) for a mothers and daughters activity weekend. It's raining but the wellies are packed! Hoping I survive!
2. Head a tiny 3 week old baby this morning - gorgeous remembering new life - so small and perfect!
3. Had a delivery of some amazing biscuits from a friend - special.
Have a good weekend all, despite all the hard.

For the first time I am posting my three good things (from yesterday)
1. Glorious sunny day on the Norfolk coast - went for a short walk in the morning (can't manage more than a short walk now)
2. Said goodbye to the friends who have been staying with us for the past 10 days and with whom we've had a wonderful time (apologies if there is anything I haven't replied to on this site but I haven't been looking at my computer).
3. Fantastic evening yesterday. I had organised a concert entitled 'An Evening of Music and Laughter' to raise money for the new Cancer Unit they are building at our local hospital. When I booked the venue and acts last January, my oncologist in Norfolk told me I would not live to see the summer but, thanks to the Addenbrookes Sarcoma Unit, I'm still here and well enough to enjoy the evening. There was lots of singing, laughter and happy, smiling faces and we raised an incredible amount for the Hospital.
Now I need to take a deep breath and prepare myself for Tuesday, when I see the oncologist at Addenbrookes to hear the result of last week's scan and whether I can continue with Trabectedin, which has held my cancer for nine cycles ….
Hope you are all having a good weekend.

1. Had a pleasant drive in the sunny Fylde countryside in my old TR6.
2. Enjoyed a fantastic day in the sun with my lovely wife, kids and grandchildren.
3. Found this group
Gosh, some of you seem to have a lot of get up and go. I don’t seem to have much energy lately but I try to get out and do something every day. My three are admittedly from the last few days.
1. Found a pair of comfortable trousers that fit perfectly and look good too.
2. Confirmed that my youngest granddaughter will be celebrating her second birthday with us. Spent a pleasant hour looking at cakes and balloons on line.
3. Oncology nurse a bit concerned about my fatigue and suggested a treatment break soon. I’m coinciding it with a visit to my eldest granddaughter next week. Obviously I’ll be seeing her parents as well but they don’t wear me out.
There’s a smile on my face from reading the latest posts. I was too tired to join in over the weekend because I was out having fun - in Amsterdam and The Hague for a friend’s 50th Birthday. It was great.
So in short summary
1. Art
2. Friends old and new
3. Coming home
xx
You are all doing amazingly well. Such a lot of things going on
My 3 things
I am all packed for Mallorca tomorrow and looking forward to having the sun on my back
We had a fabulous meal in Edinburgh on Friday night at a place called the Lookout it has a view over the whole city and across the Firth of Forth to Fife and beyond. Couldn’t have been a more perfect evening.
I have a lovely shiny new watch for my 60th birthday present. I intend to stick around long enough to enjoy wearing it for a good few years yet
Take care all
Polly
Oh happy birthday Polly ! That sounds just amazing. I was thinking about doing a train trip to Edinburgh/ I think flying might be out as the last two times I’ve flown I end up with 2-4kg of extra weight in fluid on my legs and belly. So a train trip and dinner at that fabulous restaurant might be just the thing.
I’ve had a super day with my daughter. She care with me to the trials unit where I had a safety check then on to the African fabric shop to stock up for friends who’ve ordered matching dressing gowns and pj trousers.
So in three things
1. My daughter’s company
2. Buying some truly fabulous fabrics in colours and patterns that have to be seen to be believed
3. A civilised meeting with my ex that ended in him clearing out the last of the junk he left behind. My garden shed is palatial as a result.
Xx
1. The weather here in Kent was just delightful yesterday, which was doubly welcome for me as I badly needed a sofa day. The garden looked lush and green and colourful from my vantage point
2. Soup and baked Camembert for supper.
3. I made it to choir practice and had a jolly good sing
Reading these has perked me up. You're all living. I'm joining in...
1. The fresh sprouting green of Spring.
2. Finally calling the window cleaner.
3. Looking forward to chicken tenders and salad and avocado and mayonnaise and tomato salsa for dinner.

Daloni, I've just seen the photo of your puppy. I just wanted to reach in and touch him/her. Aren't animals so heart easing. Thank you for sharing her photo. Robyn
