1. I'm just about to head off on a weekend with my eldest daughter (10) for a mothers and daughters activity weekend. It's raining but the wellies are packed! Hoping I survive!
2. Head a tiny 3 week old baby this morning - gorgeous remembering new life - so small and perfect!
3. Had a delivery of some amazing biscuits from a friend - special.
Have a good weekend all, despite all the hard.

My three things are:
I found this happy thread
I read your updated Daloni. I’ve been meaning to private message you to see how you are and to say again thank you for your help when I first joined.
The post from Alive. As Lass wrote about hope, we need hope and there is always hope and Alive I don’t know your journey but I’m so pleased for you. You give hope.
Three things and it’s only 10.30am!
Hi
I saw your name pop up and smiled. It’s good to hear from you.
I am doing fine. Tomorrow I will have the 12th of 18 chemo sessions so I will be two thirds of the way through. Hurray! A scan after eight weeks showed all my tumours were shrinking and the CA125 had gone from 1600 at the start to 220. Result! I’m due another scan in a couple of weeks so fingers crossed
How are you?

Hi Daloni
I am due to have my second cycle of the trial this week. I have a sore throat so hope that doesn’t stop it. I saw your posts about the Isle of Wight. I was born in Lyndhurst and lived a mile from the coast. I used to think the IOW was abroad! I was down in Hampshire/Dorset last week with all my family. 13 in all! Visiting some of the old haunts. We’d booked it before I was told of the trial and had to miss the first day for one of the many hospital appointments. But at least I felt well enough to go.
Where are you having Chemo? I’m up at the Marsden Sutton tomorrow and Tuesday. Good news about the shrinkage.

Hi all,
Still on cloud 9 and got a big grin on my face!
Daloni that is really good news I am so pleased for you.
three good things
it was a beautiful morning and although the clouds are building up, it’s not raining.
Refilled the bird feeders and have been watching the birds gorging themselves. I love watching them.
The pot of tête-à-tête I got for Mother’s Day are now flowering and looking so pretty.
love and hugs

Hi lass, yes you are right I did. I have put it right now I think. I am a bit of a wally. Me and technology just don’t get on. It took me ages to realise I could answer calls on my Apple Watch. I often end up asking my granddaughters to put things right for me. Even the 10 year old. They find it amusing.

Oh yes. I remember now. Memory going as well as everything else!!
Hope it goes well this week.

Mine too, . I can barely remember the day of the week these days.
Chemo went smoothly today. Three attempts at cannulation but we got there in the end. Bloods all good, CA125 (blood marker) still falling, no hiccups or delays at the lab or pharmacy and home by 5pm for dinner cooked by my lovely neighbour. I guess that’s three things but I’ll add one more. I popped into the Body Shop at the station en route to the hospital and bought myself a treat of a nice shower gel and body lotion. Mmmm.
