We have been very lucky with the weather here and I know I should not complain but it really makes you feel so much worse when you are cold.
It's my down time in the meds cycle for my bloods so it's expected that I will feel tired but the cold seems to make it ten times worse. I can hardly motivate myself to move today.
I am also still waiting to hear about my scan results (2 weeks) they said they were part reported last Friday but today they are still waiting. My positivity is waning a little but I know that is silly it is just a case of someone having time to read them.
I was hoping to get some bulbs in the ground this week but called a halt to that yesterday when the snow arrived. I need to sort myself a little project for downtime. Any ideas welcome nothing expensive or illegal.
I have already knitted my way through mine and the neighbours grandchildren. One had four grandchildren born this month and 2 expected in Feb. So 8 knits later I am taking a break.
Now I have burdened you all with my pathetic moaning I will give myself a kick up the backside and get out there for some air, the snow is all gone I am just being a wimp.
Yeh, I'd noticed that too. It's why I try and suggest alternatives and point folks to the heart hijab website when I see them talking about it. £30 on the chemo sites, a little over £1 on that site.
The only thing I could think of is that maybe the chemo ones are a softer material? I don't know, does your scalp become more sensitive on chemo?

I have no medical training, everything I post is an opinion or educated guess. It is not medical advice.
No chemo here you see. But I do have alopecia from the womb cancer treatment. They reduced my dose back in September ish, and some of it is now growing back.
HOWEVER.....
It's growing back curly, where the rest of my hair is poker straight. Even when professionally curled, it drops the curl within a couple of hours. So I look a bit insane right now with these weird curls sticking out at right angles from my head and lifting/parting my hair.
Seeing the hair support people on the 6th, I think it is, to see what to do with it. So fingers crossed!

Oh poor you, Lass
I have been through something similar. My hair was curly but last year it went straight. So I had mad curls at the end and straight at the top. It took a while to work out what was going on and I gradually had the curls cut off. Time and a good hairdresser are my recommendations. Now, what was I sounding off about earlier when I had my feminist thrombie, tvman? :-)

Yeh, both of these cost me £130 each. Lol. £50 for the bleach, £50 for the colour, £30 for the cut.
Next cut will be by the hair specialist. I'll need to ask them about bleaching it again, see if there's any problems with that. But also see how short they cut it to make the curls fit in with everything else.
The untamed new floof I have right now. The curls are round the back and behind my ears.... Lol Told you I look insane!
