I have now finished my chemo and radiotherapy.Just wondering if anyone can advise my hair is just starting to grow again , do I go and get it shaved so it will help it grow quicker
Hi and welcome to our little corner of the Community, first, well done in getting through to this point.
You may want to also put your question up in the Breast cancer group as treatments can effect everyone differently especially across cancer types.
I lost my hair three times during my cancer treatments, the hairdresser at my cancer treatment centre said that once my hair started to grow and if it was coming in in patches to shave it a few times until I had an even fuzz. For me this worked and within a month after the final shave I had a 5mm even fuzz covering my head.
At this early stage I t would be good for you to have a look at this great paper as is highlights the milestones in the post treatment journey.
((hugs))
