Hi I have finished all my treatment for HER 2 positive breast cancer. I have had Chemotherapy, finished in February a Mastectomy in March and finished my radiotherapy 3 weeks ago.

I constantly have cold skin, particularly my face, arms and legs. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this?

  • Hi  and welcome to this corner of the Online Community, although I am so sorry to see you having to find us.

Now this is a good question, my cancer journey was rather different but over the years due to all my treatment I would say that my internal body thermostat has been all over the place at times, is this normal, my team said yes.

Follow the link and join the group by hitting the ‘Join the Group’ tab just under the main group name. At this point go to the right on the group home page and select how you want to receive email notifications when someone answers your posts.

The best way to get support is to go to the 'Start a Discussion' tab just under the main group name. Set up your own Discussion and Introduce yourself to the group - you could just copy an paste what you have in this first post.

The post treatment journey can be long and confusing as you just expect to move on same old same old - but this often is not the case. Make a cup of tea and have a look through this great paper, folks will actually come back to me and
