Five weeks soon since op, is it normal to suddenly be able to see stitches round stoma and have a pulling pain ?
The only stitches I could ever see on mine were 40 - 50mm away from the stoma but they have almost disappeared. I sometimes experience a 'pulling pain' but it's minor and brief and usually associated with emptying my pouch or tying my shoe laces.
