Hello!

I have had an ileostomy for 3 months now and I am hoping for a reversal soon. I have spoken about this with my assigned nurse and I have to say she wasn’t too encouraging. Grimacing
I was also given a leaflet but that went to great lengths to point out the pitfalls. Can anyone who has had a reversal give me encouragement please? 
I’m beginning to think it’s a bad idea!

    Thanks for the supportive reply Karen, and thanks for the links. I will certainly take heed of you tips! I have just had my appointment for the enema scan cancelled as the machine is broken so plenty of time to practise the exercises. 

Help us do whatever it takes, because we’ve never been needed more.
