Hi Artsie and welcome. Glad to hear that you’re finding the board helpful. Our resident expert who has shared a lot of experience in the past (Bodach) no longer posts but there is a wealth of information in previous threads. I had my stoma reversed 3 years ago but there are lots of people on here living with stomas who I’m sure will be happy to help and share top tips.
Hope you’re recovering well from the op and please post if you’ve any concerns or questions
Take care

Hi Karen,
Thnanks for a warm welcome.I have found great tips here.
I have to say the NHS team have been amazing, I feel so lucky to have been rushed through procedures, scans and finally the operation.
I didn’t really have time to think about managing the stoma showering, bathing ect.
I hope for a reversal due six to nine months but owing to Covid they’ve said a year.
I am recovering really well and looking forward to getting out and about more.
Ann
