Just thought that I would mention this.I was accidentally sent the wrong stoma bags.of course they wouldnt take them back.then I remembered that someone on here had mentioned Jacobs Well who send supplies to countries where they are desparately needed.
Anyhow I sent them off and recieved a lovely email thanking me and telling me a bit about their work
Worth remembering if you have any excess stoma care items maybe changed bags etc
Kath
It’s good that they have gone to a good home.As I’m clearing out my mothers house I’m doing my best to recycle items.I shall make a note of this charity.Love Jane
I have a complete black bag full of boxes, Kath, and we intended to go up to Beverley to donate them, but I think I’ll arrange a courier instead as we never have the time to make the drive. The work they do is fantastic and it’s so good we can donate our excess to those less fortunate than ourselves. I’ve changed bags a few times, and with 2 stomas have ended up with so much I can no longer use.

Thanks Katz51, that's a great thing to know. I have some products that I no longer use/need and would love to send them to a good home.
I'll look up Jacob's Well. I haven't head of them before.
Brilliant!

Hi Kath,
That's a great idea but how do I get in touch with them please,? I have sound 30 boxes of pouches and it would be wonderful to give them to somewhere useful!
