Help! How on earth do I stop this very loud wind every time I eat? Honestly, in the house, it doesn't matter so much but I'm going to London for a few days next month, can you imagine the embarrassment if it happens in a restaurant, which it will! I'm very careful what I eat and drink, I try not to skip meals and I'm at my wit's end! Any tips please?

  • Hi . I'm not actually in this group but just dropped by and noticed you've not had a reply as yet. I'm so sorry I can't offer any suggestions except try peppermint tea which some ladies in my group have mentioned before.

You could also perhaps have a word with your CNS or Ask a Nurse here on the forum. You might need to wait two or three days for a reply as they're pretty busy at the moment.

Hope you get a solution soon, B xx

  • Thank you so much, I actually asked my stoma nurse, which, of course, is what I should have done in the first place and she's given me a list of foods to avoid! Hopefully this will sort the problem!

    Thanks again,
