Hi everyone

I received a letter from my surgeon on Saturday morning. He stated that my lymphocyte count is slightly low at 0.65. Does anyone have any idea what this means? I stupidly googled what lymphocyte cells do and it freaked me out! I’m due to go into hospital for surgery this Friday, and am now really worried about getting an infection that my body can’t fight!

Just had my first cup of tea! Unlikely I’ll be allowed to eat today, but hopefully tomorrow. Bowels won’t work if they’re empty!

Thanks for your message Jane. Just had my first cup of tea! Might get the tube removed tonight, but more likely tomorrow. Absolutely starving having not eaten since Thursday. I get to smell what everyone else is having though. Xx
