Hi everyone

As you may know I have a feeding tube through my intestine to help me eating but what ever I eat stays in my body for a very short time and it comes out from my ileostomy or a wattery stool from colostomy (its like a fluid you can not call it a stool)

What can I do ?

Docter said it's normal but you know I have lost a lot of weight

Did you guess, I would be first to answer you.

Sorry to hear that you are having output problems but you doctor is correct it is normal especially from your ileostomy to have watery poo and as you're not eating solids it will have the same effect on your colostomy.

Are you taking any medication by mouth if so you could ask about Immodium normally comes in tablets,or capsules but I'm not sure if it comes as a syrup. This is normally used to slow down the output but can also thicken it up also.

You've gone through a lot in recent weeks and this will be the result of you losing weight plus you're not on solids won't help once you get back to solids hopefully the weight will come back on.

You're doing so well don't let a little thing watery poo get you down its probably temporary concentrate on being well enough for the next lot of surgery and of course the day you get back to your home.

Keep up the good work you really are doing good.

    Thank you for your answer

I was sure that you would be the first one

I'm taking Imodium. Syrup as I cant take any thing from my mouth

Doctor says the weight loss is due to gasteractomy and my exentration but yess it's also because I take only fluids

Thanks for supporting and giving hope
