Hi there, just a quick one for you guys . I’ve had a colostomy stoma and it’s now been reversed on the 6th of March this year , has anyone else got a bulge either side of there main scar ( mines from chest to pubic area) that looks like a bum cheek!! I’m 9 weeks post reversal and still in a lot of pain and really hate the look of my stomach. I’m 43 year old male who had/has bowel cancer..
Hi Lee75
Welcome to the community, hopefully you’ll get support here for your current situation.
I’m an ileostomy patient so haven’t got the experience you need but I would say that seeking advice from your GP would be a good starting point.
What you’re describing could be a hernia. It might not be but I’d say get it checked out to be sure.
Take care
Cassie
I’m booked in to see my colorectal nurse on Monday!! Thanks for the reply Cassie x
