Hi,
I hope anyone can help.
I am experiencing wind after I eat. I don't wolf my food down (and I chew, like Ian nags about, ha, ha, ha). I burp so loud dogs jump out of their fur!. I take Mebeverine to help with the wind but it doesn't seem to help. I sometimes get acid and I take a Rennie and that seems to calm it down.
I am wondering if anyone else has the same problem and if so, what do you do? Please.
Enjoy your day.
Hi LisaCardiff
I'm sorry to hear of the problems you're currently experiencing, it can't be pleasant.
I don't have experience with this but I noticed that your post had gone unanswered. By replying to you it will bump your post back to the top of the page where someone with the experience you need might see it and be able to help.
I'm also tagging my fellow Community Champion into my reply as I'm sure he'll be able to offer some help.
I hope you can get some help soon

Hi LisaCardiff
I’ve think I’ve managed to attach a pdf from colostomy uk. It gives guidance on what could help with wind, ballooning and odour.
My friend swears by yogurt to reduce wind build up
Hope this is helpful to you and you get some relief. I know what it can be like. I have an ileostomy and it bubbles and burps a lot at times. Certain vegetables do it to me. Maybe a food log might help you identify the main culprits.
Best wishes
