Hi Everyone. Thought I try to connect. Its my first day of treatment today for a neck tumor and neck cancer. I'm incredibly nervous having survived HIV with an Aids diagnosis in 2000 and 6 weeks severely I'll in hospital and not expected to leave I did and then was hit by that speed train again in 2015 for Heart by pass graph surgery and now this I cry myself insane wondering why me and what else.. I have so much hatred and anger that its hard to function. My partner is finding it hard too naturally. I wanted to connect with anyone who has had similar experiences and can share and looking to connect with new friends.

I hope your first day's treatment has gone well.
As you know the online community is divided up into different support groups so I hope you don't mind me recommending that you also join the head and neck cancer group which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
