Hello my name is Heather I have just been diagnosed with brest cancer last week for the first time (and last I hope) Both my sisters have had cancer,one died seven month ago Im a bit scared of what to expect with the chemo. Can anyone tell me how soon after the treatment do you start to feel ill? How soon do you lose your hair?
Thanks stef, chest scan was painful but only because bloke was total idiot!! But as you say, at least its done now. Had my bone scan today, was ok, better than i thought it would be. Had radioactive injection in arm then had to wait for 3hrs for it to get into bones, scan took bout half hr, waiting around was the worst bit, the staff were lovely though, and the radiologist (or wateva he was) was gorgeous, shame scan wasn't longer, lol. Hope your well at mo, am i right in thinking you've had chemo in last few day? Hard to keep up with everyone. I will keep everything crossed for you in Oct..I'm sure everything will be fine though. Time just flies by, doesn't it?! Hope everything is going well for you & I'm also going to try & come on here more often, as my posts have been a bit few & far between of late..
Hi Paula, the £1 coin weighs it down, also comes in very handy when you need change, just remember to go to the ladies and remove it, not in the shop, lol xxx
