Had my 1st dose of EC on Wednesday and so far so good, apart from lack of sleep. Hopefully will be ok now as not on steroids from today.
I hope all who are having treatment, it is being kind to you.

I hate this new site. I really hope it's just 'new phobia'. I can only find our thread if someone has recently posted, and it comes up that way. I'm also worried about the woman who posted very recently who was having an op Thursday I think. All that stuff seems to have disappeared, so no way of making sure she's OK.
Hello Everyone
Think you are right about this site Kay -will save it to my favourites in the hope of finding it again. It did feel weird without it these last few days. Glad your radiotheraphy is ok Jean. I start mine on 15th November if last two chemo's go to plan! Have my 5th out of 6th next Thursday. It will be my second texotere as i had three FEC and three of these.
Paula the new site is really good and will help so many of us thank you
Weather is sunny in Deal and there is a music festival this weekend - not sure if i,ll go yet - all those germs!! I have started to put on weight for the first time - all the galaxy chocolate I can't seem to stop eating during the third week!
As always love to everyone hope we all find our way here!
love Daryl
Hi all, like you I have stubbled on to this site.
I hope all is well.
I saw the oncologist and she is referring me to the surgeon, I have been penciled in for the 9th oct so I'm going back to Cyprus so as to keep the boss happy and shall return on the 9th.
Hubby say's its thundering over there but the temp is still mid 20's so can't wait to feel the warm sunshine again. I know your all thinking I'm sure she was moaning about the heat last time we spoke, but the cold is ten times worse for me than the heat, oh well no pleasing me really.
Wendy very good luck with your op I do hope that everything turns out ok for you.
Right then I'm off to Cyprus tonight so am back to public computers, so sorry in advance if you don't hear from me for a while.
good luck to all those that are having treatment this week and jeanie I am pleased your radiotherapy is going ok.
love to all sue xx
Hi All
Just trying to find my way around this new site. A bit confusing isn't it.
I have found the best way to find our thread is to log on to the site and click on "On Line Community" Then click on "Forums" Then click on "My Discussions" and you'll find it there.
If anyone else has a quicker/easier way of finding "us" then please post!!!
Love Jean xx
Hi guys,
Like most of you i'm having trouble with this new site!! This is just an experiment to see if i'm doing it right!!
Glad you're all ok

Hi all,
Not really user friendly this new set-up, is it? I consider myself quite computer literate! Also stumbled to our forum (used Jean's user name to search for a post. Once found I quickly bookmarked it to favourites).
We seem to have lost a couple of days' posts, so can't comment on your posts.
Had a nice short week's holiday, very relaxing. Taste fully back (not that I lost it with this FEC - it was more of a dull version of full flavour if you know what I mean). Still have problems with the mouth ulcers though. How long after last chemo will it take before they disappear for good? Have also had a bit of problems/soreness where the Hickman line comes through the chest, but will be better with TCP ointment and TLC.
Glad to hear that your radio is going fine Jean. Any tips to share before I start in some weeks (last chemo on 30 Sep).?
Hope everybody is having an OK weekend so far.
Love from Laila xxx
Thanks for the route map Jean. I'll try it next time. It took me ages to find our thread this time. Then I spotted Susie, and latched on to that. Glad to see a few more of us have found our way here though. Like Laila, I had thought I was reasonably OK with this stuff - obviously not. I really don't know why MacM had to bugger about with a perfectly good site in the first place. Wonder how much this has cost. Right, that's enough moaning.
Good weekend to one and all, hope Caley, Sam, Wendy, Stef and all the others manage to find us.
Love Kay xx
Hi everyone!
Back to chemo yesterday after a horrible two weeks. Got up today with a new head on and went down the rugby club and ran the bar and had a great laugh with mates, feel like my old self again.
One boob down after the op and infection last week but velcroed my new boob into my bra and off I went lol It didn't end up round my neck so all was well.
Full hotel so up for a big week and lots of work, only 4 chemo's to go now, in between the district nurse coming in to pack my boob, should be fun considering I have convinced them to bring my chemo forward to next thur so I can get back on track.
Hope everyone ok xxxx
