Hi Moomy, just a quickie as I am on my way to be zapped. I am happy to communicate with your friend, have a read of my profile and see if it fits the bill for the advice, help etc she may need.

Oh girls. Last night when I was getting undressed I realised that I had a bright red rash all over the area where my breast had been. It's still there this morning, along with spots in the rash. I've phoned the clinic and have an appointment for tomorrow afternoon. Given that it's only in that area, I think it's fairly obvious that I have a recurrance. Not at all sure I can face any more treatment. I can't write anymore at the moment. I'll let you know.

Kay i hope the rash is not what you think and please let us know how you get on tomorrow - thinking of you loads and hoping its not what you think. Keep strong and try and hang in there. love stef x

Jean - i know viagra what was he thinking i not got that kind of stamina at the moment (but gave it a whirl anyway lol). I think it be easier to put a ban on sex till xmas and if he gets any hes bloomin lucky - that would take the pressure off immensly. Woo Hooo so chuffed its your last chemo today - nearly over Jeani xxxx stef

Has anyone heard on news this morning about tamoxifen causing secondary hard to cure cancers if on it for long time - what choice do we have apparently the pros outweigh the cons when i looked it up.

Just been shopping with daughter (after a long walk with trev) we did PRIMARK big style - got something for everyone - even got a xmas pressy in with it - so thats a start - though did have 2 double cheeseburgers before shopping haha - still full up. Hannah sleeping out tonight and Michael at cadets so at least a quiet night at home instead of Tom and Jerry antics with two teenagers... phew. x

Lesley, so good to hear from you again and I'm pleased that the Taxotere in not giving you any more severe problems.

Paula how is the popping booby? Hope chemo went ok today and you got some answers re the booby problem.

I sat the whole time in the chemo unit. this afternoon, with a big smile on my face. When the final syringe was pulled out I shouted "YES" and threw my arms in the air. The chemo nurses were all cheering. It was a great feeling.

As always, thinking of you all. Keep up the fight, girlies.

    Love Jean xx

    Hi Wendy,

I am just having the left side done on the 17th. The surgeon says he should be able to match the shape well. He wants to transfer a small skin island to combat any shrinking effects of the radiotherapy. To be honest I am a bit nervous. I hope I don't end up looking too scarred. I keep asking him to get the tummy scar low.
