Hi Gill
I'm really sorry to hear that you are having a tough time, but also glad to hear that you have family around you to support you.
It is difficult at times to talk to the family only about what we are going through, so this site is great because we all know exactly how we feel. Good days, bad days and we can say what we like here to each other as we all understand the same feelings.
I know that I put a brave face on most of the time as I don't want them worrying about me, although I know they do.
What I also know now, after the week or so I have been here, is that, should I need to, I can say exactly how and what I feel to my friends here and know that they will understand. We are all in a similar position.
So if you want to have a good moan or a chinwag or crack a joke with us, we are all here for each other.
Take care of yourself and keep posting!!
Best wishes
Jean
Hello Ladies
Well my buzzing around has stopped! I've joined Chelle is the Chemo Coma Club!.
Had my dinner last night and fell asleep for 2 hours. Had a Cuppa and then wend to bed at 10.30 and slept till 7 this morning. Got up, washed dressed, ate breakfast and then fell asleep again. Had a coffee and then fell asleep again. What a bummer!
Also my arm, breast and back are swollen and aching. Phoned the Chemo unit and this is yet another side effect of the EPI. Got to see the GP this afternoon to let him have a look and see what he says.
Hope everyone else had a good weekend.
Thinking of you all.
Jean
