My partner Martin was diagnosed with this horrible desease on june 19th 2008. I am so scared of this monster of a disease, why does it happen, where does it come from? Cant we find a cure? please God find one soon. There are htousands of new cases every year why cant we save these peoples lifes from this horrible disease.

Julie your Stephen's symptoms seem very similar to Rob's, where was his tumor? Rob's was right front temporal lobe (think that's right) caused headaches & seizures & change of personality (I call it mood swings!) Rob's the same after having a seizure, he ends up in bed for the rest of the day, totally drains him, a few weeks back he had 4 between 7:45am & 9:10am he was out of action for 2 days after. Eileen Stephens is on his left temporal lobe, he has only ever had the seizures, still to this day he has never had a headache, wish I think is really weird.xxxxx

Emma - I am so very sorry to hear your news. I'd just finished reading your profile when I read your sad news. I hadn't realised your girls were so little. I too have two girls - 7 and just 4. It's bad enough for my two having their granny so poorly, but I am sitting here crying so much at what your two are going through. And what you must be going through as both wife and mother. At least Matthew's suffering is over, it's everyone else left behind that now suffers. Thinking of both you and Carrie loads. SallyE
