Hello,
My name is Leigh (age 26) Married Dad of 2 (girl age 3 years 11 months – boy age 1 year 7 months –and a Baby due December).
On the 14th of May I was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor behind my right eye.
On the 20th of May I had a operation to remove as much as they could and it was found to be a “anaplastic oligodendroglioma grade 3”.
I am currently half way through a 6 week course of Radiotherapy.
At first I found it a great shock and really did not know what to do.
Currently I find I have highs and lows.
What really gets me the most to think of my children losing their Dad, I am scared of missing so much of their life and them growing up.
My daughter is a real daddy’s girl and every time she does something sweet I just can’t help but to go and have a cry!
She thinks that I had just bumped my head and that’s why I have got a scare.
My Wife and Friends have been great! I have been keeping busy, Still doing some work and been going out lots as I find that help me forget about things.
Leigh.
