My mum has recently had her first scan following treatment and NED. She has had a text from her GP asking her to make an appointment for an oncology review. Is this bad news or routine? We are worrying. Thank you.

I am sorry to hear that you and Mum are worrying and it is only natural.
My cancer was endometrial and once treatment had finished, I had routine oncology reviews every 12 weeks for 2 years.
It sounds like it may well be a routine review following the scan.
I wish Mum well with her appointment and hope that she gets reassurance soon.
