This is just an advance notice to let you know that this forum group is going to be combined with the Cancer chat forum from the end of April.
We’re always looking for ways we can improve the Online Community, and simplifying the number of forum groups available is one way to do this. We have seen that many of the conversations happening in the General cancer discussions forum can also fit within the Cancer chat forum.
By combining these two very similar forum groups, we will help more of our members to see each other’s discussions, ensuring that members receive even more peer support than before.
From the end of April we will be closing this forum group to new posts, and we will be moving all discussion threads that have seen activity within the last 12 months over to the Cancer chat forum. At some time after this has been completed, the General cancer discussions forum will be removed from public view.
If you know of any older discussion threads that you feel should be moved over to the Cancer chat forum, please get in touch with the Online Community Team directly with the details. You can reach us by sending an email to community@macmillan.org.uk.
