Thinking about it (i'm thinking again), my mum was the same, thats how they found the leukaemia in the first place.  She was due to have a new knee, but her pre med showed up funny blood, and the rest is history.

Poor you!! thats a very long time to have had to put up with a dodgy knee, and no,i'm not having a dig at your age-before you start!!!!  I shall be 45 this year, so i'm fast heading towards 50 myself.

i just listened to the interview on Louises site.It does raise a smile doesn't it!! I think children of that age are lovely,so enthusiastic. Thats why i help at youngests school.Couldn't do it in the eldests.i'd want to murder all the kids!!!!!!

I really really really must go!!!!! Don't want Louise telling us off! With any luck Karen will be back in a mo. I might see you guys again later tonight- but have got the weekly shop to do,so will probably be fit for nothing but an early night after that!!!!!   Have a good day. XXXXXXXX

    Hi Karen,

Yes, its lovely here too, i so wanted to get out into the garden.  There are 2 dandylions amonst mums tulips and theyre really bugging me, mum would've been out there like a shot, digging them up.

No havent heard about the interview, but i'm really not sure about the place anyway.  I did apply for an admin/reception one at local medical centre, but i think they usually like people that have worked in those places before.  What sort of thing are you looking for?

im looking for admin/reception/computer work etc., but part time as i need to be here for the boys after school, hopefully we will find something shortly, but just enjoy the sunshine with your feet up for the moment.

have you sorted the dandylions out yet? be careful of your knee, oh and your back, maybe just leave it till hubby gets in ha!!  xx

Hi Karen, i did mention the dandylions to hubby thinking he would offer, but he just said 'oh yeah' !, so looks like i'll be doing it.

Our job page is on thursdays, next door put it through for me on friday or saturday.  Its funny because we can go for 2 or 3 weeks with nothing, then like last week, there were about 4 or 5.  I'm hoping this week there's nothing again !!  But the week before last hubby went through it with me, so i didnt have any option but to apply for some.

I went to sign on way back in september, but when they asked me about my circumstances, i broke down.  They said i should be claiming incapacity benefit instead, but that all went pear shaped because i couldnt get to see my own doctor, so i gave up in the end.  I know its not much, about 54.00 a week, but it all helps doesnt it.  As it is, i'm not claiming anything and what little bit of savings i did have is dwindling very quick.  Thats why i really needed to get out today, we had a huge phone bill, over ÂŁ200 and unfortunately all the bills come out of my bank account.  My hubby had written a cheque for half of it and i desperately needed to get it into my account.  Its all a bit worrying really.

What sort of thing is your husband looking for?

    hi jayne

i know it is worrying money wise isnt it? we are struggling at the moment.

this is the 1st time we have had to ask for help, so hopefully our rent and council tax will be paid for us (or most of it) unril we can get back on our feet again.

hubby is looking for security or driving job, hopefully something will turn up soon.

im just looking on the driving instructor website, but dont know how much it is to take the course.

    are you in the garden?

no, not in the garden.  I thought about the driving instructor thing.  I used to know a lady that did that, she also did a morning job, but did the driving thing afternoons and saturdays.  Paid very well.  The trouble is, i've been a bit naughty and have never ever changed my licence to my married name, and now it has the wrong address on it as well.  Its a ÂŁ1,000 fine if you get caught, so must get that sorted out.

I also thought about a little driving delivery job, there are a few garages that advertise now and then for a small parts delivery person.  Trouble is i dont have a very good sense of direction, it would take me all day to find one place !! ha ha

i have just phoned driving instructor college and have an interview about it all on friday, they dont tell you how much it is, if its very exspensive i wont be able to do it, but the wages are good arent they? and your guaranteed a job place with a car afterwards.   how ankle isnt too bad.

i also thought about delivery but cant see too many jobs here for that at moment.

im just going to sit out in garden for a while, so see you soon, love karen xxx
