Hi Jayne-- hows the knee this morning?? its rotten isnt it,having these health issues to contend with.I sometimes get lower back pain, but touch wood, havent had it for ages-but i do appreciate just how rotten it is for you.Back pain is one of the worst things to have to contend with, and if you have other problems as well then its certainly not funny is it.

You will be pleased to know that i'm not going to be around today!!!! Just checking in quickly now and then i'm going to be busy for the rest of the day.

hope that your day will be a good one.take it easy, love Marie XX

    Morning Susan

How are you all?  Thanks for your post.  I loved what you said about my Mum and Dad celebrating in style for his birthday.  I’d never thought about that, but now you mention it, they more than likely are.  They're probably revisiting somewhere they went in this life, it’s a lovely thought. Thanks for that x.

So Jonathan is off on hol again?  I know you’ll miss him, but you must take the opportunity to get away yourself.  Do you have any idea where you're going yet, or is your husband going to surprise you?  I bet you're looking forward to the easter break, I know I am and I don’t even work !!!  But it will be nice having hubby here for 2 extra days.  A birthday tomorrow then?  What surprises have you got for Jonathan?  Susan, I know I keep saying this and you must think I'm a real bore, but your Mum and Dad can see Jonathan growing up, they wont have missed a thing.  They will know how he is growing and will be so proud how you’ve brought him up to be a fine young man, teaching him to be a good person, just as they did you.  Your parents sounded a lot like mine Susan.  They were always away on holiday somewhere, they loved it.  I used to joke with my Dad that he was spending my inheritance, we used to have quite a laugh about it.  But I'm so glad they did the things they did, they had a wonderful time, and a wonderful life, and as you say, its great to be able to look back on everything they did.  My Mum and Dad didn’t waste a minute, its just a shame everything was cut so short for them, especially my Mum who spent the last 12 years without him.  But she’s with him again now.  It sometimes makes me smile because I can almost hear my Dad saying to Mum “you took your time getting here, couldn’t you make your mind up”?  My Mum was a one for not being able to make her mind up on things bless her.  Anyway, I hope you’ve had a good day, not long to go now till the well earned break.  The fog has lifted earlier here today and its lovely and sunny, but no gardening for me today I'm afraid.  I can hardly walk, getting a bit fed up with all this bone thing, but plenty of people a lot worse off, so shouldn’t complain.  Speak later Susan, love jayne xxx

    Morning Marie

I was just wading through last nights posts and then saw yours.  How are you?  I shall miss you today, what are you up to then?  You probably wont see this then till later.

The knee is not good, i'm fed up with it.  I had planned to go out, need to get to the bank, but can hardly walk, so not even going to attempt to drive.  And now I dont even have you to talk to.

I took my poem off the memorium post, i put some words on instead, i just wanted to say what i thought (I must take after my mum in that i can never make up my mind)!!.  Have a good day Marie, hope you get back here later.  love jayne xxx

Jayne-just remembered, its your dads birthday today isnt it.The fog is still heavy here, but am sure there will be plenty of sunshine when it lifts.my mum always put a lot of store by getting sunshine on your birthday. She used to say God wasn't very pleased with us,if we didn't get any at all on the day!!!!  So,God must be very pleased with your dad Jayne--its supposed to be a lovely warm day today.

I did like the poem that you had for your mum on the rememberance site.i see that you have taken it off and replaced it with an equally lovely tribute.

I should take things easy today- get your sun lounger out and sit in the garden with some magazines,or a good book, and plenty of liquid refreshment!!!! See you later.XX
