Morning Karen
I have to laugh, I had just logged out because I must get out to the shops (no milk), and then saw your post, so here I am again!! It seems we’re all having trouble sleeping at the moment, and I'm wondering if I will ever work again, what with the back, the knees, the hip AND not sleeping. Who in their right mind would employ me??!!
No, no news on the plaque yet. (its my mums plaque, but dads stone). Mum already had a plaque for Dad and I wanted one put on for Mum, but I think they said it would be ready about mid April, so it will be here for mums birthday in May. It will be the first birthday for Dad without it, sad really, but I'm sure he’ll understand. How long is your mums going to take, have they said? I never realised they took so long.
I wish we could post photos on here, I would love to see your Dad, your Mum certainly knew what she was doing didn’t she. I used to go out with my Dad on Friday nights (while Mum went to bingo with her neighbour). I used to feel so proud standing next to him, he was a real good looking man, and what with my Mum being so beautiful………. Well, they couldn’t fail to go wrong with me really could they, ha ha. Although since I've had this thyroid disease I now look like something from the Adams Family !!!
