Well here i am again at 4.30 in the morning and i can't sleep yet again!! My husband Darryl has terminal small cell cancer and, at the moment is going through a really good phase. Which, i would have thought, would set my mind at rest and enable me to sleep. But no, here i am again having had 2 hrs sleep tonight wide awake with mad thoughts running around my head!! This is driving me crazy and i just seem to be on auto pilot all the time. Darryl is 44 years old and we have been given a prognosis of a 2-3 year life span for him. I can't seem to let go of this thought, and maybe part of me can't sleep because of that, as i feel if i'm asleep i'm wasteing precious time!! Darryl is sound asleep and resting well, and if i stay upstairs next to him listening to his breathing, i keep thinking is this the last time i'll ever hear that and end up getting so uptight and worried that i find it better to just get up again. So i wander round the house do a few chores, have a hot caffiene free drink and will myself to sleep all to no avail i might add!! hahaha surely i'm not the only carer who never sleeps, or am i????? any comments gratefully recieved. Japan must be inundated with photos of Sydney opera house. I watched yesterday as 5 Japanese tourists took a photo each of the landmark. then they each had a photo of one another on five cameras. then they had a picture of the group as a whole taken again five times I lost count of the number just this group took then a coach load arrived
I am sorry to have to inform you all that the sun is blazing down again fortunately it is only around 22 degrees. At the weekend the temperature rose to 33 and it is forecast to do the same again this coming weekend. I went to buy one of these beach tents to protect from the intense heat of the sun but the shops do not stock them yet because they say it is still not summer
Had a LOAD of real ale, can't remember getting home. Woke up at some ungodly hour stark naked in the kitchen. Slacks in the hall, pants in the bathroom and coat on the landing, shoes were upstairs as well.
Had to open club at 8 for the cleaners, went back to bed got up at 12.30. lay on settee, made coffee at about 2, lay on settee, made coffee at about six, lay on settee, made sausage sandwich at about 10 and saw it twice.
Found out the next day that I'd booked up a new year cruise and am sharing a cabin with the club treasurer...............and now it gets better..................a 42 yo fit blonde single mum ...............................(GRIN) ........
She a good friend and he dad's not much older than me, so no hanky panky (damn), mind you if the rumours start down the club.............................it will be me who started them .....(ROLF)........

Oscar started saying some japanese but when I listened carefully he was saying "You tie my shoe, I tie your shoe" over and over It certainly pleased the visitors.
