Well here i am again at 4.30 in the morning and i can't sleep yet again!! My husband Darryl has terminal small cell cancer and, at the moment is going through a really good phase. Which, i would have thought, would set my mind at rest and enable me to sleep. But no, here i am again having had 2 hrs sleep tonight wide awake with mad thoughts running around my head!! This is driving me crazy and i just seem to be on auto pilot all the time. Darryl is 44 years old and we have been given a prognosis of a 2-3 year life span for him. I can't seem to let go of this thought, and maybe part of me can't sleep because of that, as i feel if i'm asleep i'm wasteing precious time!! Darryl is sound asleep and resting well, and if i stay upstairs next to him listening to his breathing, i keep thinking is this the last time i'll ever hear that and end up getting so uptight and worried that i find it better to just get up again. So i wander round the house do a few chores, have a hot caffiene free drink and will myself to sleep all to no avail i might add!! hahaha surely i'm not the only carer who never sleeps, or am i????? any comments gratefully recieved. oh shell im so sorry i think you should get rid of her she doesnt sound much of a friend to me, i know the sort dont matter what you have there problems are worse, and by god what can be wors than having to deal with the crap we deal with day in and day out.

Glad you had nice time at KFC, she sounds like a true friend, if people gossip bout you take it as a complement, your life is more exiting to talk about than thier own! What you got planned for tomorrow?Im gonna do some massage with people with learning and physical problems,gets me mind of me own stuff and to see them smile and enjoy thier treatment is soo rewarding...xx
am not to bad you know how it goes up and down up and down good job i dont get sea sick. am taking the grand children to the zoo tomorrow. am looking forward to it and im not if you know what i mean. just going as i promised abbie at the start of the school holidays i would take her, wont be the same with out jeff there with us though
hi folks ye back again on the night shift was tryin to read back and forgot the time just like to say hello to you all hope you gettin there .am still tryin to get mma we flat ready to move into still stayin with ma sister had flat since 16july but it takes me ages to do stuff a use to do in aday ha ha ha am knackerd glad to be back at work for a rest not ha ha .but will be moveing in a few weeks its the forms they drive me nuts somtimes a canny remember whats to be done next

Hi Paul,xciting doing up your own place, my parents holiday alot in Bonnie Scotland, they go to the remotest of areas in thier camper,they love it, sadly dont no if they get another holiday, bet you dont get to travel your own country and see the beauty of the mountains! i used to go as a child, used to have a pen pal in Wick Lol ..xx
ye shezie it can get on your wick esp the rain the rain in spain falls mainly in glasgow ha ha am shure your parents will have told you that av stayed on the ayrshire coast it has great beaches none of which you can have much fun on when raining he he heh ye gettin there with flat but its taken forever but a want to get it all done so when a move in I dont have to move everything to get things done as my arm is pretty weak now with lymphodeama nerves plain up to back to hos 1st a no what they goin to say they tryin me with tenns machine ,but not told them I cant take the painkillers coz av got so much to remember each day when a take them a cant remember my name somtimes he he he
