Well here i am again at 4.30 in the morning and i can't sleep yet again!! My husband Darryl has terminal small cell cancer and, at the moment is going through a really good phase. Which, i would have thought, would set my mind at rest and enable me to sleep. But no, here i am again having had 2 hrs sleep tonight wide awake with mad thoughts running around my head!! This is driving me crazy and i just seem to be on auto pilot all the time. Darryl is 44 years old and we have been given a prognosis of a 2-3 year life span for him. I can't seem to let go of this thought, and maybe part of me can't sleep because of that, as i feel if i'm asleep i'm wasteing precious time!! Darryl is sound asleep and resting well, and if i stay upstairs next to him listening to his breathing, i keep thinking is this the last time i'll ever hear that and end up getting so uptight and worried that i find it better to just get up again. So i wander round the house do a few chores, have a hot caffiene free drink and will myself to sleep all to no avail i might add!! hahaha surely i'm not the only carer who never sleeps, or am i????? any comments gratefully recieved. ye my freind did have the owls he was pets mad he paid a fortune for them very hard to keep but they were lovely he also had a fish tank from 1`end of his liveing room to the other with all the trimmings with I think he called them some sort of basking sharks just the little ones 3 off and a alsatian dog ye think he was a bit mad .xxxxxx

Now I know who he is!! 2 girls sitting behind us said 'didn't realise that one from Blue Peter was soo fit!!' I thought they were getting someone mixed up with Jamie Theakston durrr!! won't tell ya the score but will say that Gordon Ramsey and the ref didn't last very long and the one from hollyoaks is quite chubby, didn't really keep much of an eye on the ball, was busy keeping my eyes (out on stalks!!) on Nicky from Westlife...do ya think I've name dropped now lol :-) xxxx
Paul...we have fish and (touch wood!!) we're not doing too bad with them, though a few years back we had some and I'd cleaned them out, Michaela's cousin was round and kept asking what this smell was...I'd moved them from the kitchen side onto the cooker hob :-( the hob was still on and the smell was boiling fish and a plastic bowl...asides from all these mishaps I do like animals and CAN look after them, when Michaela's treatment is over she wants a kitten (not had much luck with them either really) though I'd rather a springer spaniel...we'll see :-) xx

Can you be trusted with animals?lol i let one of my cats stay on my bed the other night,cause she looked soo cute and comfy,she was ok till daylight then she started licken me and pouncng on my feet everytime i moved,she soon got chucked out the door xx

Yeah, course I can!!...as long as I keep fish away from cooker hobs and hamsters away from wardrobes and dustbins I'd be a prime candidate for the RSPCA :-)...didn't embarass daughter at all just sat there with eyes 'widely' peeled, I said exactly the same to Michaela about Nicky being short, he may be short...but very sexy with it xx
Paul...they do fret when they see me get the deep fat fryer out, mind you is it true that fish only have a 3 second memory span? so by the time I'd boiled them they'd have forgotten lol :-) that makes me feel a bit better xxxx
At 5"8,dont like short men,never a good look towering over em in your stillettos,not that i wear stilettos,cant walk in the bloody things,but you no what i mean xx
