Hi everyone
I am just trying to navigate myself around the site. Still struggling, but thought I would try and make a temporary place for the WTBT folk as we are all wandering round like lost souls at the moment- don't know if this will work- but worth a shot while Mac try and resurrect the old thread

Buttercup is the name I gave my brain tumour when I was diagnosed and its a link to my own personal blog outside of Macmillan.
I am in Essex, England by the way not Australia!
Hope that clears up the confusion.....I've always had my blog as part of my signature on What Now and just carried it over.
Hi!
I like Buttercup - my daughter has named hers "Betty"; it was a little easier to stomach following initial diagnosis, probably for the people around her than H herself, but it has stuck!

Hi all, bit of a nightmare this new site, hope everyone is doing ok. We are at the oncologist tomorrow to start 5th cycle of tmz getting a bit scary now we are coming to the end of treatment but hopefully hubby will start to feel less tired and do more of what he wants to. Don't know if anyone can help with this but we are considerring getting sperm frozen when its safe to ( after 16years together i've suddenly got very broody), as anyone any experience or knowledge of this.
Mollie XX
Hello Nerak, I didn't want a horrible name and as Buttercups are quite pretty but basically a weed - something that grows where we don't want it......I thought it was apt. One of my favourite sayings now when I do something wrong is:
BLAME IT ON BUTTERCUP
But Betty is a good name too!
Yes, that's very apt isnt! Holly started with Dorothy, but she kept forgetting it so then it was Dotty - which I sometimes think she is! - but by accident it transpired into Bettty as she kept getting Dotty wrong too. Doh! Holly blames Betty for alot of things too!!

lie,
If I could work out how to request you as a friend on this 'wonderful' whizzy new site, I'd pm you as it's not something I feel like discussing 'in the open' - if you can work out how to request me as a friend, I'll happily discuss it with you.

I'll try again!!

Thank goodness you posted again SusiiQ - I've been scrolling up and down looking for 'lie'! No wonder Martyn calls me blonde!
Hope you're ok and that the new term is going well xx
Evening all Martyn and CH thank you for asking, Jan is proving remarkably robust and is doing really quite well - she just doesn't really like being left alone at home so spends many days out with friends. We have a community nurse coming from the local hospice on Wednesday to help me keep an eye on progress etc hope it goes ok!! With luck she and Jan will strike up a friendship which should make things easier for later on sometime. Well if you think the new website is proving tricky you should try it on an iPhone; a bit like keyhole surgery with one eye shut (yes I know boys with toys). CH - think it must have been your settings. Mandy - scrolling up and down looking for 'lie' I ask you ( good job there was only four pages)! :) Love to all - Robin
Well that wasn't quite as successful as I was hoping; guess that's the HTML editor I had to use; old site was better in that respect for toys. Robin
