Hi everyone
I am just trying to navigate myself around the site. Still struggling, but thought I would try and make a temporary place for the WTBT folk as we are all wandering round like lost souls at the moment- don't know if this will work- but worth a shot while Mac try and resurrect the old thread

Jean, so sorry and my deepest sympathy's - I'd like to say you've come across as a lovely person from your posts on this thread, you have had such dignity and so very understated. I do admire you and hope you continue to find support from us for as long as you need - I am sure Paul is so very proud of you. Take care xxx
Hi everyone,
I have posted in another forum (parents of children with brain tumours) but wanted to come on here and say hi.
Camille is 2 and was diagnosed with a large inoperable Grade II Ependymoma brain tumour. I won't go into all the background as its on the other forum - and you can also read about it here - www.camillesappeal.co.uk.
I am sure this place will become a huge comfort to me over the following months/years, unfortunately at the moment I am in our local hospital as Camille is neutropenic/has and infection - she is having a blood tranfusion and 48 hours of A/B's.
She's a real fighter though, she has addressed this battle with amazing grace and dignity. When you love another person the way I love my daughter, there are no words to use to describe my feelings. I am literally fighting for the both of us.

I am so sorry Jean, I meant to send my sincere condolences in my previous post,. I am also sending much love from my family to yours xxxx
Hello Hayley and welcome to this thread.
A bt diagnosis is terrible in our loved ones of any age but in someone so young it is indeed terrible. It's good to read you are getting good treatment at Addenbrookes. I wish you and Camille strength during Camille's intensive treatment and very best wishes for your fundraising.
Best wishes,
CHxx
Hi
Jean, I'm not so sure I know what to write to you but I don't want to leave your post not replied to nor do I want to pretend I haven't read it. The heartache you must be feeling is unimaginable and I know there are no words which I find to give you comfort - but be assured there are people here and around you that are thinking of you - none of this dreadful journey is easy is it, and it doesn't get any less easy - thinking of you xxx
Hi Hayley
Welcome to WTBT - I wrote to you on the other thread which I pop over to on occasions. Sorry to read that Camille is having to be in hospital - the result of the treatment she was having I presume? I hope she is on the road to getting back home with your lovely family and enjoying herself with her sister again xx
Hi again Jean. I also found it so strange after all the months my wife was ill. The feeling of being utterly bereft sums it up well. Look after yourself.
Hi Padster
Nice to see you still pop in from time to time - I hope you still are finding you have the support of friends and family around you to enable you to get through each day. Take care xx
Jean
You are very much in my thoughts, I can only imagine how you must be feeling and I know nothing I say can take it away. I do hope you are able to draw on support from others around you xxx
