Hi everyone
I am just trying to navigate myself around the site. Still struggling, but thought I would try and make a temporary place for the WTBT folk as we are all wandering round like lost souls at the moment- don't know if this will work- but worth a shot while Mac try and resurrect the old thread
Love Ali xxx
Hi Mollie
No, I'm afraid you don't get rid of us lot that easily!!! Do you really think Martyn would desert his staff that are part of our train journey!! No we just want an easier place to chat but we will keep nipping back here daily so no farewells required!
Take care xxxxxxxxxxx
Mollie and Mandy, we only need Millie now for a full set!! remember that rhyme?
We are not leaving the site as such, it's just that our discussion thread on facebook is easier to use for general chit chat. We will keep an eye out here for any new posters looking for help and support , and pay regular visits to keep up with our friends who haven't ventured over. I find it very noticable that first time posters are far, far less than they were on Share, could this be due to the difficulty in negotiating this new site??
Mollie, we could guide you through joining facebook if you wish? go on, you know it makes sense Rodney!!
Best wishes to all, Martyn XXXX
Mollie, I was very anti fb but the train driver persuaded me and I quite like it now. I just use it as a forum really. If you are worried about security as I always am, you can shut most of the options off, you can sign in under a pseudonym and use one of those free hotmail email accounts. As I do you can also tell them different birthday! I hope you try it.
Best wishes,
CHxx
CH,
Are you saying that you weren't really born in 1988?
Disappointed of Newark! XXXX
Martyn, I was named after Little Friend Susan from Milly-Molly-Mandy books! My eldest brother (who was 4 at the time) was asked to choose my name and apparently my Mum had been reading some of her old books to him... et voila!
Unfortunately for me I think I was more likely named after the infamous Mandy of the 60's! Something which Martyn was actually quite slow to point out to me!!
Sorry Martyn.
Searching for "Vyn Tramline" yields no results. Searching for "Vyn" yielded 343 results none of which were "Vyn Tramline". Am I thick?
Could we try this - could somebody search for "Steve Bowen Xchanging". That should yield only me (I hope) and send me an invite?
Cheers
Steve
Mollie - I think as others have said there will still be regular stops here at the Mac WTBT platform and others. Fb seems to have a lot of platforms to visit which doesn't make keeping up that easy. Mind you that might be something to do with trying to access it via my phone on the 3 x 2 screen on my phone! Bs brave and give it a go - think of it as your continuing IT training / development task. Best wishes to all - Robin
Steve - no I don't think so. The RNLI had to come out for me and I'm not sure they have got me back to dry land yet either! I'm sure you will see the orange boat soon. Robin
Lifeboat launched!!! Need to get Steve to notice it now though! Robin I see you've been safely steered in the right direction - see you xx
