Hi everyone
I am just trying to navigate myself around the site. Still struggling, but thought I would try and make a temporary place for the WTBT folk as we are all wandering round like lost souls at the moment- don't know if this will work- but worth a shot while Mac try and resurrect the old thread

I wasn't quite sure if my ears were glowing or my palms were itching, but someone's been taking my name in vain I think!
Mrs Miggins - I approve of the mulled wine but I still feel stollen is a much nicer alternative to mince pies.
Col has gone for yet another 'boys night out' to a Chinese restaurant in Winchester this evening so I'm home alone - how come he has 2 different groups of blokes to go out with when none of my friends arrange 'girls nights out?' - feeling very left out!! I'm thinking of putting on 'It's a Wonderful Life' or 'White Christmas' DVD shortly if anyone wants to join me - after I've finished watching Come Dine with Me on C4 of course! The guards van is very cosy!!
Not been on here for ages so don't know everyone or what's been happening to most - hopefully catch up soon.

Oooh, sorry - Christmas movies are off for this evening - just seen that C4 are showing Shawshank Redemption after CDWM - a 'must see' movie if ever there was one (well - after the Green Mile that is, but I saw that last week!)
xxxx
Not sure if that is the sort of film Martyn had in mind but sounds fun.
Good to hear from you and that Col is so well.
Miggins xx
Ohhhh Shawshank is an excellent film indeed - Green Mile is too much for me but also a goodie.
xx
I don't think that is ever the sort of film that Martyn has in mind - naughty boy!!
Lovely to have you back too xxxxx
What time does the party start then?
Darling. XXXX
Captain Darling to you!
I guess when Mandy the Flanders Pigeon Murderer gets here with her stash. Though SusiiQ is already at it I think. Robin is sewing a bird and I'm opening the Bailey's.

Well they better hurry up, it's my bedtime in 10 minutes.
Your replies are all bang on, they certainly have made me realise that I am not doing my husband or myself any favours, thank you so much. XXXX
I have always been overprotective with my family, no one could look after my children as well as me and now no one can look after my husband. I will let hospice know that I am not coping quite as well as I have been letting on.
Cheers everyone.
Hi Daisie,
Please do let them know, I say this through experience.
I have been caring for Doreen 7 years now and I would never admit I needed help, probably still wouldn't because if I don't do it nobody else will be capable of doing it properly. I have become a complete control freak and probably Doreen has not benefitted due to my over protectiveness. If there is a condition called carers syndrome, then I most certainly have it.
Please ask for and accept genuine offers of help at the earliest opportunity otherwise it becomes more difficult as time goes by, listen to what I'm saying, unfortunately I didn't.
Best wishes,
Martyn XXXX
