HI everyone
When someone you care about is diagnosed with cancer, it can be hard to know what to say. Some people may prefer to write something down in a card, letter, or text message.
You don't need the perfect words or grand gestures to show you care. We asked people with cancer to share what really helped (and didn't!) when they were diagnosed.
We also shared some advice for family and friends in our Community News Blog 'Moments of support that made a difference'
Please do have a read and let us know what you think.
You might tell us if the article has been helpful for you, or if you have any of your own advice to add.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
