Hi,
I have just found out my mum has cancer in her submandibular salivary gland. Thankfully they believe it has been caught early and is very treatable. We are just waiting on further tests to check it hasn’t spread anywhere else.
I am trying to stay strong for her but I am absolutely heartbroken, my mum is my best friend and the thought of loosing her absolutely terrifies me.
She doesn’t want many people knowing that she has cancer which I completely understand but I’m struggling to keep it in and pretend that everything is ok when I see people we know.
I am looking for some help and support from people who have been in a similar situation and have learnt how to cope with it.
Thank you.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
