My sister is arguing with my Dad since his cancer diagnosis and I dont understand why...
I tried to convince myself its because she is upset (either by the diagnosis itself of the fact that he is refusing treatment) but I asked her if this was the case and she said no.
I asked whether there is something that has happened in the past to cause what seems to be a large amount of anger towards dad and she says there is not one major incident just that he has changed over the last 5 years and become not a nice person.
Dad is not an easy person, he is difficult, opinionated and always has to be right and as he has got older he is every inch the grumpy old man......but I dont see why or what there is to gain from being argumentative with him now.
The arguments have got really bad and Dad says hes heartbroken by the way she has spoken to him and he doesnt understand and neither do I.
