I am at a stage where for years the doctors have not giving us hope for my partner to survive.

Started with Bowell then Bladder ,Colostomy bag,to many red cells leading to cirrhosis of the Liver cancer of the Liver .

nothing ever went in the lymph glands ,two years ago blood clots ,nothing more they could do .

Royal Free performed amazing new technology, then last May we were told six months .

this man is amazing but now he is so aggressive ,angry and cannot walk much and I myself cannot take much more,he obviously is in pain ,but discussion is not a option for him ,he acts as though it’s his right to act this way .

anybody else going through this !

  • Hi

Welcome to our community, I hope you find it both informative and supportive.

I am Steve, one of our community champions and my expereince of cancer is via my wife who has Leiomyosarcoma.

Although we have had a few rough spots on our journey over the last 10 plus years we had not experieced what you are going through but I have certainy seen others in a similar situation. One thing though was when I first reached out for support for me Janice saw how it helped me though she did not feel it was right for her at that time. It is perhaps worth remembering that Macmillan is here for carers too and you would be more than welcome to ring the helpline on 0808 808 0000 it is open 8am to 8pm 7 days a week.

    <<hugs>>

    Steve
