My partner had his bowel surgery on friday, he was diagnosed with cancer in his ascending colon.They removed part of his bowel along with the cancer,performed a bowel resection.The operation all went well according to surgeon. He is off all drips and only taking paracetamol for pain relief. They are talking about sending him home tomorrow.
Doctors have said he will receive a phone call in 7 days with the results, is that quick? I was under the impression that it would take longer to receive the results.
