My mum has had a recent terminal lung cancer diagnosis and my Dad is struggling with her. They are both in their early 80’s and my Dad is struggling with the day to day caring for her. As a family, we help as much as we can but sadly work dictates our time. It’s so hard!

Often a key element in getting support in place is getting a needs assessment, this would be carried out by your mum's local autority and you can read more about them here.
Something that has been a great support for me was the local Maggies centre, there are a number of groups though over the country and you can find details of those local to you using our in your area tool.
