Death of my daughter & husband within 10 days of each other!

I'm struggling to cope with the death of my beautiful daughter who had fought hard for 4 years then my husband ten days later. I was at my daughter's bedside with her husband when she passed (although she was unconscious) but my husband died in his sleep (we had separate beds) now my son-in-law seems to have moved on after just 2 months! Their 3 young children thought they were friends at 1st & liked her (she was a friend of my daughter & son from school)

How do I grieve? & Not get angry with my son-in-law?

Sorry for the long rant but I just don't know what to do.

  • Hi

So sorry for both your losses, while I can only imagine the loss of your daughter I lost both my parents within 6 weeks of each other my father after a long illness and my mother out of the blue and even 13 years later I cannot really say which was harder.

There is of course no right or wrong way to grieve but if you feel talking to someone might help you there are a couple of charities that specialise in this area - cruse bereavment care and the loss foundation. You might find more people in a similar position in our Bereaved family and friends forum

    <<hugs>>
